Signing and Unveiling Ceremony: Tripartite Government-University-Enterprise Collaboration Launched

On the morning of September 28 2025, the signing conference for the Fuzhou University New Electronic Chemicals Technology Industrial Park Project and the unveiling ceremony of the Institute of New Electronic Chemicals Technology were held at Kemen Park, Lianjiang Economic Development Zone.

Wu Minghong, President of Fuzhou University and Academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering, Qiu Ting, Vice President of Fuzhou University, officials from relevant municipal departments of Fuzhou, Lianjiang County leaders Gao Shuangcheng, Guo Yong, Chen Jun, Zhou Shoulong and Chen Heguang, and Zheng Xiaozhou, Vice President of ZF group attended the event.

At the signing ceremony, Lianjiang County Urban Investment Group and ZF group signed a cooperation agreement for the electronic chemicals industry project; Fuzhou University and ZF group signed a cooperation agreement for the electronic chemicals pilot innovation service platform. Through complementary strengths, the three parties will build a collaborative innovation model with in-depth integration of education, research, industry and government, and jointly develop an electronic chemicals industrial ecological cluster with a green closed loop of "R&D – pilot testing – mass production – recycling", helping to enhance the independent controllability and industrial competitiveness of China's high-end electronic chemicals.

Following the signing, Wu Minghong and Gao Shuangcheng jointly unveiled the plaque for the Institute of New Electronic Chemicals Technology. Leveraging Fuzhou University's strengths in scientific research and talent resources, the institute will focus on cutting-edge fields including wet electronic chemicals, photoresist resins and monomers, and electronic specialty gases. It will build an innovation consortium composed of "research institute + pilot base + industrial park" to carry out basic research, applied technology breakthroughs and high-end talent cultivation

This cooperation marks ZF group expansion into emerging industrial sectors with higher technical barriers and broader development prospects. The project will help elevate the competitiveness of the high-end electronic chemicals industry, and inject new momentum into the optimization and upgrading of industrial structure as well as economic development of Lianjiang County and even Fuzhou City.
